BIOGRAPHY
I qualified as a nurse in 2001 at Bedford Hospital and started my nursing career as a Scrub Nurse for procedures in Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology and Urology. I then transferred to Papworth Hospital to work as a staff nurse in Critical Care and then later returned to Bedford Hospital and worked as a Senior Staff Nurse in the A & E Department, where I completed a BSc (HONS) in Accident & Emergency Nursing.
My career journey then led me to working as a Sister in the Cardiac Cath Suite for several years. My next move took me to Milton Keynes Hospital where I worked as an (IBD) Specialist Inflammatory Bowel Disease Nurse. I am now working as a Clinical Research Nurse at Milton Keynes Hospital and for the past four and a half years have built up a portfolio of research studies in Cardiology, Gastroenterology and ED.
