BIOGRAPHY

Michelle’s research is centred on the use of digitally-delivered interventions to improve healthcare services. Her main research interests include the development and evaluation of mobile apps, wearables, and software for data collection and information dissemination, with a primary aim to make interventions more useful and efficient, and improve health outcomes and people’s quality of life.

Since 2016, Michelle has worked in digital health research at the University of Oxford. Previously she worked in London at the British Medical Journal (BMJ) and completed a Ph.D. in digital health at Imperial College. Michelle grew up in the Netherlands where she obtained an MSc in Health Technology Assessment and BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Radboud University Nijmegen.
